Here we have a 1977 Original Paint R100S, with 61139 original miles. Remember the bikes are only original once, and this bike is a true survivor. The bike is 33yrs old, and has all the goodies. I have gone through this bike fender to fender. I am a Certified Motorcycle Tech, and it is ready to take on a Cross Country Ride. All fluids where changed, all new tune-up parts, including advance unit, new tires, all new seals, and fork bearings, all bearings greased, and adjusted. Gauges were sent out cleaned, calibrated and lubed. i went through this bike to keep for myself. no corners were cut on servicing this bike. Fly in, and ride home. Everything works as it should, and has all the keys, tools, shop rag, and cable lock. this bike was owned by the original owner from new till October 2009, and his wife used it from 1983 till then, as he bought a new BMW in 1983 to use. It has all the 40mm stuff, and has the deep oil pan, fork brace, steering dampner, Lester Mags, Krauser Bags, luggage rack, and dual plug heads. the second set of plugs are not hooked up, you will need a second coil, and two more plug wires to complete the set-up. the motor, and frame numbers also match...this bike is a true survivor, and if you know anything about them, you will see it is a very correct bike. I have been using this bike, as some of you have seen the mileage has changed. I just changed the oil @ 61018 miles, and i still stand behind this bike. it is a great running motorcycle, and you would not be disappointed. i like to keep clean oil in my bikes, and this bike is no exception. Mileage has, and may change as i do ride this bike. The Clock is starting to show signs of needing a cleaning/rebuild, as it is starting to run slow.
