Being sold on consignment to settle estate (owner passed away)......This vehicle was owned by older gentleman that used it as a hunting/camp vehicle for the last 6-7 years. It was kept serviced and kept under a carport when not in use. Only has 31,000 miles on it since 2004! 1989 DODGE RAMCHARGER 4-wheel drive with the 5.2L-318 V8 engine automatic transmission, power steering and brakes, air conditioning, automatic hubs, high-low 4x4, bucket seats up front and rear bench seat. Tires are all matching white lettered radials with 60% tread left....good shape. Interior is fair, could use cleaned up/vacuumed and has some tears in seats, sagging headliner but nice rear seat, good door panels, decent dash, good guages, etc....some normal wear and tear but still quite decent and very useable/comfortable. Body is actually really, really solid for 22 years old and for a Ramcharger! Kept under roof and not driven on salty roads, so that probably helped alot! Has one small spot on drivers side rear quarter just behind tire that looks like it had a small patch/touched up spot but not real noticeable. Has solid rockers, door bottoms, quarters, fenders, inner fenders, floor pans, body mounts and frame. Better than most Ramchargers I've seen. Very solid and straight body! Paint is poor, weathered and faded. A good washing would help it and still looks decent and presentable overall. Ram starts up good and runs good with no odd engine knocks or smoke. Idles smooth and revs up strong. Could use battery as the one thats in it will be weak/dead after it sits for 3-4 days without being run....if started and ran everyday, it holds a good charge. Truck has good driveline, transmission shifts proper and 4x4 works very well. My son and I just picked it up today and drove it home in the snow. Ran and drove good, heat worked and we took it off road, in a field and had some fun with it....seemed to work very well! Runs, drives and works very well but has not been inspected or on legal roads since 2008, so I suggest checking it over/inspecting and servicing with new fluids and filters and a tune up before making it a daily road driver but see no problems with it as far as safety or major mechanical issues. Just a good, solid and straight old Ramcharger folks.....NOT new or perfect but certainly no rust bucket or major project! Great one to give a quick goin over and use for daily/snowy weather driver or nice, easy one to redo....very hard to find these old Ramchargers! Would make a great plow vehicle too!! Clean and clear title.
