HONDA CR 500 R Restoration from the frame up. Frame professionally sand blasted, inspected and powder coated. All bearings were inspected, cleaned and if found out of service were replaced. The engine was completely rebuilt. The cases were split and the transmission was inspected. Main bearings were replaced with OEM. The crank was rebuilt using a Hot Rod kit. All engine seals were replaced with OEM. The piston is a brand new Pro X 91mm. The carb was taken apart, inspected and cleaned. The air box was cleaned along with the filter. The radiators are in excellent shape without bends or damage. The clutch is a new Barnett HD with springs. It does have a slightly heavier pull than stock but is also a bit tougher than OEM. If you'd like a lighter pull at the lever, stock springs can be installed. The wheel bearing were cleaned and inspected. The shock and fork have been serviced by Pro Circuit within the last year. The seals are all intact and without leaks. The exhaust is Pro Circuit. The silencer was rebuilt by PC and is new.The tires are brand new. The plastics are brand new. The seat is without rips or tears. The bike was owned by an older gentleman and was used as a trail bike. It was never abused and was maintained meticulously. This bike has never seen the dirt since being rebuilt and is garage kept. It is a very nicely done restoration.
