1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible with matching Tonneau Cover This sweet T-Bird is awaiting a new home for top down cruising this spring. It comes equipped with what I am told is the original 390. The mileage may be original, but there are no documents to verify the mileage as fact. This T-Bird has a very solid body, with nice daily driver quality paint. The frame and floors are still very solid. It looks like a previous owner may have repaired a section of the floor, but it was professionally done to last for many many years to come. The prior owner said that portions of this body still maintains the original paint. I don't know how true that is to be, but from my experience I could not detect if this car has ever undergone a restoration. This car is being sold as an un-restored vehicle. The tires are all like new 15" radials with the wider whitewalls to really spruce up this cars appearance. There is an AM/FM Cassette player that is believed to be aftermarket, but does have the factory look. It is very hard to find an old convertible like this with the red on red combination. The top is in nice shape with very minor imperfection. We would have placed the tonneau cover on the car, but the relay that verifies that the top may start its process to fold inside the trunk has stopped working. That problem was diagnosed, so once the top goes down the tonneau cover will fit nicely. This car really looks special when the tonneau cover is in place to make it look like a two seater. There is a company out of California that makes a replacement relay relatively inexpensive, but there was no time to order one. The storage has been lost and the car needs to go now. This is your opportunity to pick up an awesome deal before these cars sky rocket in price. I am selling this sweet T-Bird for a close friend, but I will be able to answer all questions very proficiently. If you feel there is anything I may have left out please ask.
