Vehicle Detail
1979 Chevrolet Corvette, L-48, 4-speed manual transmission, manual locks and windows, 350 V-8. This is a great driver car. It has a paint job that is only a couple years old with only a few minor blemishes (there is a place on the hood that is cracked because someone left the air filter too long when the carb was placed and shut the hood. I included a photo of this). It has new Goodyear Eagle tires, new radiator, and new carburetor. The car does have factory A/C but it does not work. I have replaced the carpet and seat covers. I also installed a new JVC CD player with Pioneer speakers. New power antenna.I also installed a new DynoMax SuperTurbo exhaustI am including a few parts and manuals that I have with the car.Headlights go up and down great.Mileage reads 38550. I'm sure it has rolled over at some point. This is a really pretty car and runs and sounds very nice, but it is not perfect. I will list here what I know could be done to it. A/C does not workNeeds a new driver side T-top pad (current one is okay but ugly)I stripped the black paint from the window trim and rocker panels. It looks okay now, but would look really good if it was chromed.Windshield wiper relay needs to be replacedAs with most late 70's cars the cluster gauges don't work well. The fuel and battery are the only ones that work properly. There is a scratch on the windshield. I put a photo up so you can see it. I adjusted the interior dimmer on the headlight switch recently and in doing so caused my Low-beam headlights to no longer work (I am including a new headlight switch with the car that I recently purchased, just don't have time to install it right now). That's all I can think of right now. Please email me if you have any questions. I can give you my number if you would like to speak on the phone as well.If you are close enough to come take a look at it, let me know. I'd be glad to meet you somewhere. Thanks for looking!
