You are looking at a 1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty, extended cab, 7.3L turbo diesel pickup. I am selling this truck because I don't drive it very much and it sits for months at a time. It's a great running work horse and I hate seeing it sit and turn to a pile of rust. I bought this truck when I lived in Colorado and used it to pull our 32ft 5th wheel camp trailer all through the Rocky Mountains and it never cracked a sweat! We moved to Ohio 7 years ago, sold the trailer and now the truck just sits. This truck runs great and is in great condition. I would not hesitate to drive it across country and in fact most of the miles we have put on it since we moved here have been driving back and forth to Colorado. There are a few issues I will try to disclose as accurately as I can. Issues: • The inside of the bed is in rough condition and has rust hole issues. I tried to take pictures of some of the worst spots but as you can see we live in the snow belt and it's full of snow. • There is a small amount of rust starting to show it's ugly head on the drivers door and side door. I don't think it would take much for a body shop to fix. • The driver's side floor and mat are dirty, again, because as you can see we have a lot of snow and it's a muddy mess right now! I haven't been able to get it cleaned up yet but will be as clean a possible when you pick it up. • It has aluminum wheels which, as we found out, don't like salt too much and are showing signs of pitting. Now the GOOD STUFF: • The truck is a 7.3L turbo diesel which is considered to be the best diesel truck engine ever produced and with only 138,000 miles is consider barely broken in. • Has new tires with only about 3,000 miles on them. Put new tires on it and took it to Sturgis this year. • Has new brakes, rotors and lock-out hubs. • Has electric trailer brakes. • Has suicide doors on both sides for easy access to the back seat and the back seat folds down for more room if needed. • Has an after-market AM/FM radio that has a port that a MP3 or IPod can be plugged into. It also has a 6 CD player under the back seat and cassette player. • The center console can be folded up to make the front seat a bench seat. • Power driver's seat, windows, and locks. Sliding back window, air conditioning, cruise, automatic transmission and tilt steering wheel. • I have changed the oil and serviced it every 5,000 miles since I have owned it. • Best of all this truck is being listed with NO RESERVE and will sell to the highest bidder. I do have it listed locally and reserve the right to end the auction early but will only do this if there are no bids at that time. Now the necessary stuff: The winning bidder will be required to pay a non-refundable $125 deposit through PayPal within 48 hours after end of auction, (this covers my listing fee if you decide you don't want to complete the transaction). The balance will be due in either cash or cashiers check when you pick up the truck. No PayPal payments for final balance please.
