2nd owner of a 1966 Mustang. This car has been in the family for 20+ years and has been garaged kept original and well maintained, all number match. This car has original factory Air Conditioning and Power Steering. It has been a California car its entire life, originally bought in Orange County, California. It does not have rust and has not been in a major accident. The car was painted in 2004 with only minor dings on the body repaired. This car comes with the original owners manual. I did add a 10 disc CD changer in the trunk and an aftermarket radio which fits into the original dash configuration. I have the original AM radio and will include with the car. On Jan-02-11 at 13:22:10 PST, seller added the following information: Please note a potential buyer came by today and noticed some items.... A) While there is no major rust that I have seen there is superficial surface rust that I can see in the truck. I can wipe it away with my hand and there are no holes. B) I must remove the claim that the car was never in an accident. It may have been prior to my ownership in the 1980's. The fellow who came by today showed me that the passenger quarter panel has been replaced. The only tell tail sign is that it was painted and not undercoated. In my amateur opinion they did a great job replacing it....I have owned the car for over 20 years and never noticed. C) The cowl vents have been replaced. D) The car was repainted black, according to the VIN number the original color was green. E) Some people have been asking to purchase this car for their teenager. This car has been a sunday driver and more of a toy for me for the past 20+ years. It has been pampered and well maintained. All work has been done my professionals and I beleive this is one of the most solid and unmolested Mustangs you can find. That being said you don't want to put you kid or grandkid into a car from the 60's. I would prefer that this car be owned by someone who will continue its care and maintenance and enjoy it as a hobby...not a daily driver.
