1951 Chrysler Windsor two door. The body has been repainted and is very presentable although there are some imperfectioins visible but still looks very nice. The chrome is decent however the headlight bezels should be replaced. The left front fender spear is broken at the rear. I see a replacement one on ebay listed for 19.95. The glass is all present and unbroken. I replaced the left and right front door glass as they were cracked. The seats and door panels are original and in worn but useable condition. The headliner looks too good to be original so I suspect it has been replaced. There is no carpet. The exterior body shows no rust through. The drivers side front floor shows some rust through. The trunk is good. The instrument panel needs the padding replaced There are two headlight switches so that needs some checking out. The engine will start and idle. I have not gone through the engine so it will need attention. Putting the transmission in gear takes some fiddling around. The linkage is loose and needs adjusting Most likely the rubber bushings need replaced. The clutch works but there is some chatter. There are two sets of wheels, both shown in the pictures. One is the stock set and the other are Boyd Coddington chrome with Hankook tires installed. The wheels list for 200 apiece. All in all this is a solid car that with some work will make a nice driver. I do not have the car insured so it can not be driven on the road. Although it does run I would not expect to drive it any distance. I have bought and sold quite a few cars on ebay and it is my experience that the pictures always show cars as better than in person. so keep that in mind as you view the pictures. Also included with the car is a shop manual covering all aspects of the car. I bought this car several years ago and put it aside and now need to sell it as we are selling our house and going to be rv'ing full time. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have.
