Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is a 1994 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with 134k two owner miles. California car with zero rust. Power provided by the multiport fuel injected 5.7L (350 cubic inch) LT1 Chevy Corvette-based V8 and 4L60E automatic overdrive transmission - lots of power. Factory heavy duty cooling with 2.56 open rear gears. Loaded up with lots of power goodies, all of which work. Has normal minor wear for age and miles, but very presentable, nice looking car. Freshly rebuilt transmission (the weak link in these cars) with 20 miles on it; receipt and warranty papers go with new owner. Big-O Tires in Renton gave the car a once-over and clean bill of health 12/30/10, installing new front brakes, wheel bearings, rear wheel cylinders, front end check, oil change, etc. - also have that documentation with car. Drive this car anywhere! NO RESERVE. Questions? Click "ask seller a question," email me directly at diverted_fred@yahoo.com, or call Fred at 315-246-0612. Please allow time for a response as I work 8-4 elsewhere. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing, ticking or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature and there's no check engine light. Good battery & good charging system. Fresh oil change and have receipts from past several oil changes. Runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs flawlessly - just rebuild. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all four forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter (also rebuilt) performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors or leaks. EXTERIOR: Body: Body has no rust and a few small dings, all on the driver's side: on top of left fender, bottom of left fender and driver's door, and bottom of left rear door, all seen in pics. About average. Paint/Wood: Paint is nice with a few small chips and scratches, and paint is all original except for top of left front fender. A bit above average. Wood trim is in nice shape. Side panel applique has a few scratches and nicks, worst on left rear quarter above the wheel. Other: Plastic bumpers are in good shape with no cracks ( a couple scratches.) Stainless side trim is nice with a couple small dings (worst under left taillight.) Undercarriage is California beautiful - NO rust - see the pics. Door jambs, tailgate sill, and underhood sheet metal have NO rust blisters in these hidden areas as seen in pics. Glass is all good with a small rock chip in the windshield. Aluminum wheels are in good shape with no curb rash or pitting but a few scratches. INTERIOR: The interior is nice shape overall but not perfect. Some minor wear on driver's seat, small crack in dash, foot long tear in back of headliner are the worst issues. All else pretty nice. Though typical, there is NO wear near driver's feet - carpet is nice. A bit above average interior. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, button horn, wipers, etc.) ALL the power stuff works including power windows, locks, dual power seats, hot heat & cold A/C through digital climate control, tilt wheel, power mirrors, cruise control, am/fm cassette (decorative knobs missing,) power antenna, keyless entry, hatch release, rear wiper, and rear defroster all work. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out nicely. Steering & suspension are reasonably tight, alignment is good. Brakes work well with good linings and no noise or heavy vibration. Tires are a matched set of Cooper Trendsetters with about 50% tread remaining. Solid exhaust with no leaks. Rear end is quiet. Quick off the line, smooth and quiet on the highway with lots of passing power. Nice driving car - no issues. Clear California title.
