I'm selling my silver 97 4runner with tan interior. It is the SR5 model and 4WD. I just bought a Land Cruiser so I no longer need this truck. I bought the 4runner from the original (who I know) about a year ago. The truck has been well maintained and garaged most of its life. The guy was very meticulous about his vehicles. I am the same way. Since I've owned it I changed all the fluids (engine,trans,tcase,diffs,coolant) and gave it a tune up. I also rebuilt the starter. The timing belt was replaced recently before I bought it. Everything functions as it should except the power antenna. It no longer goes up or down. It doesn't bother me so I didn't fix it. It does not burn oil but the valve cover has a slight weep. It doesn't lose any oil between changes. Runs and drives well. I've made plenty of road trips in it and wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Tires are in very good shape...they have less than 10k miles on them. It has 222k miles...most of which were highway miles. It will easily go another 100k if properly maintained. The body is in good shape with only two minor dents. One is near the rear taillight and the other is on the rear gate. They are very small and not really noticeable. There is no rust on the body or the frame. Clean outside and inside. I just detailed it and had the carpets cleaned. I can email more pictures or provide further details. Local buyers please feel free to come buy and check it out in person.
