This is a complete and running 1951 5 window pickup. I have been slowly restoring it while driving it and using it. The odometer read 250000 but it was not working when I bought it so I know it has more miles than that. It is registered as a historic vehicle. The engine is a 1954 235 straight six. I put a rebuilt starter and carb on it. The intake and exaust are from the original 216 engine. It has been rewired but remains 6 volt. The front end was completely rebuilt. New brekes, lines, wheel and master cylinders. The interior is stripped at this time but I have all the parts that came off of it. I rebuilt the seat and it has a new cover. The heater has a new core and has been powder coated. I was going for a "original looking" restoration so no major modifications have been done. It has rust in the floorbord and kick panels that will need repair. The paint is I think the 4th coat and it is badly cracked. I "replaced" the bed with 3/4" plywood strips and salvaged the wear strips. It has all been remounted with the proper hardware. The truck is located in Springfield, Missouri and could be driven 50-100 miles but otherwise you will have to arrange to have it picked up.
