Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is a rare find a 1966 Plymouth Belvedere with only 94,928 original miles. This is a very solid survivor with a near perfect body and brand new paint. The body was super solid and straight with no sign of any previous damage or damage repair. The car was just painted with a two stage base coat clear coat with the highest quality PPG paint with a custom Pearl red paint. This is a very low mileage west coast car that has been in Northern California for many years but is originally from Washington state and still has a Washington title. The new owner will receive a clean Washington state title how ever the car is presently in the San Francisco Bay Area. The car is a Satellite with a GTX hood and some other GTX trim. It has a very strong 318 V8 and a new 727 automatic. It is a super solid convertible and has spent the last 45 years on the West coast. This is a car that you could drive to New York as it sits. The 318 V8 has been very well maintained and has no issues and runs very strong. The dual exhaust sounds great with a deep throaty sound, but the two mufflers are blown. The 727 automatic was rebuilt about 10k miles ago and works great. The power train on this Satellite is very solid with no know issues other than the mufflers. This car fires right up and runs and drives great. The car has a new power top that works great. The only issue is the chrome trim on the passenger side rear is missing other wise every thing is original and in very nice shape. The car has near new tires and has the brakes done recently. This car has been used in some movie work as well as a rock video, please check the links provided. Be sure to click on a full screen when viewing. How many 1966 Convertibles can you buy that have been in a rock video across the San Francisco Bay Bridge as well as a other movies.
