Vehicle Detail
Light lemon colored classic convertible with a newer convertible top and bench seats. Interior is a medium beige, which matches the color of the convertible top. The top has a 5 inch cut. Has a 1977 Oldsmobile F350 engine installed (122,000 miles). Please note correction: It does not have a rocket engine. Some work has been done: new timing chain, all new: oil pan gasket, valve covers, gaskets, intake manifold gasket some new lifters push rods and rocker arms, new spark plugs, new motor mounts. A good, used carburator was installed. The engine is hooked up and the starter is installed and works fine. The frame is in very good to excellent shape. The floor boards is really good and solid. The transmission & trunk pan is good. The rubber seal on the passenger side is not sealing properly. As a result, there was some leaking on the carpeting on the passenger side both front and back - you can see some of that in the pictures. We have the following: new altinator, new transmission kick down cable, power steering, a/c condensor, power steering. Needs the following: body work, a distributor, rear bumper, tires, new brakes, a/c pump. I only have the ignition key. Left render needs rust repair and paint. I have been asked what it needs in order to get it up and running. My mechanic says you would need a distibutor assemby and the shaft between the distributor and oil pump. I have all the other parts that are needed, and is included with the car. Great holiday gift for a person who wants to work on a great project! Definitely restorable. Based on the many questions that have been asked, I have revised the description and added more pictures. I would like the car picked up as soon as possible. It does NOT have to be picked up by December 30, but should be picked up as soon as possible within the first two weeks of January. I do have some flexibility. Thank you for viewing and please feel free to ask questions. I've uploaded additional pictures to show the doors, trunk, engine and bench seats. PLEASE NOTE: 1) PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS CAR UNLESS YOU CAN PROVIDE REQUIRED $500 DEPOSIT WITHIN THE FIRST 24 HOURS OF WINNING THE BID. THIS SHOULD BE DONE VIA PAYPAL. 2) YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ARRANGE TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED AWAY (IN STAMFORD, CONNECTICUT)
