Up for sale is a 1970 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible. It is a body off resto. This would make a great ornament for the tree. Well it may not fit under the tree but you can put a bow on it and put it in the garage. This car has not seen rain or any elements since I brought it back from the depths. I have pictures of the complete teardown and pictures throughout the rebuild also. It has had the body and chassis stripped and new pans installed, new brake master cylinder, new wheel cylinders, new support rails, new seat covers, new front carpet, all new top, new fenders, lights, fuel sending unit, new ball joints, steering box, and there are also many more. It has a 1600 Dual Port that has all new gaskets and the car is finished off in a Mazda RX 8 blue and silver frost. This car is by no means perfect but it is a registered and driving vehicle. I have put many hours and details in this car and don't really want to part with it but I also have other play toys. I have spent countless hours working and restoring this vehicle and it has been my baby for 4 years. I only hope that a fellow Volkswagen enthusiast or the up and coming will get it and appreciate it. This is an awesome car and you will have countless smiles and laughs. If you had one as a kid it is time to relive those memories. I have the reserve set at a resonable amount. I have about 8000 tied up in it but reserve is much less.
