Very rare 327/365 hp convertible with factory air conditioning. No hit, no rust car with older body-off restoration. Car has side headers, knock-off wheels (1997), leather seats, and second top (hard top) in good condition. Leather seats show wear but no tears. White convertible top is in good condition. All controls work except the odometer and clock. Clock still moves but doesn’t keep time. Wonderbar radio has been replaced by an aftermarket digital. I have owned the car for 10 years. It is garage kept and never seen rain. I have only driven the car 5-10 times a year. This car is a real performer. It never fails to start on the first attempt and is a real head turner. The color was changed by the previous owner. It is now white on white, but was originally GG code (Glen Green). I had a friend of mine who used to be an NCRS judge inspect the car. Here are his comments: This is a numbers matching car and would present a great opportunity for restoration to those interested in that. This car is a side pipe car, with the 365 high horse power option and sounds like a real beast when you start it. The knock off wheels are in great shape. Both tops are included in this auction. This car does not appear to have ever been in any type of accident. All the fiberglass looks correct, and the glue looks original. The antenna is still intact and works. The bumpers are in great shape. This car was restored in the 90's, but does show signs of wear as to be expected for a car that has been driven for over 10 years. The paint has chips and some scratches. The rear pod has some seepage. The air conditioning works sporadically, the grille is from a ‘67. Body seals and weather stripping show their age. The transmission tunnel insulation is missing. The radio is a replacement. Is this car perfect? No, but it’s a very solid midyear with all the important parts there.
