Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1971 Honda CB500 Four. The bike sat in a warehouse since 1984 uncovered and unused. I spent the last year slowly bringing it back to life. I had the carbs ultrasonically cleaned twice and I had the engine and transmission cleaned and gone through before putting it on the road. The original tank, which I have, is off of the bike and was replaced with a tank and petcock from a 73 cb. The 71 tank is very dirty and needs to be cleaned. I put on superbike handlebars and new grips along with the sexiest pipes you"ll ever find for one of these bikes. A twisting set of Jardine 4 into 2's that will run you $500 easy if you can find them. Even thought the carbs were cleaned they will need a complete rebuild since they continuously leak gas when the bike is turned on. Also, the bike has a new battery but hasn't been ridden since Moved to Maryland July 3 2010. It has been sitting in my garage collecting dust and leaves? I don't know what that;s about! I have all the original badges, petcock seat latch and a few other things that will go with the bike. If you would like to come and see the bike just mail me with your number and I will get right back to you. Watch the video as it will give you a little more detail. Also, please see my other ad for my 1977 KZ1000. Thanks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_sqfT1svp0 On Dec-11-10 at 04:32:53 PST, seller added the following information: I was asked to put up more pictures of the pipes so I added this video of the bike with a complete walk around. This video was taken in mid June 2010 right before I moved from Jersey to Maryland. The battery was old at the time and had been replaced a couple of days after the video was taken. The second video is the bike with the new battery. To all who contacted me I hope this helps. If you can't click on the link just cut and paste in you web browser.
