Vehicle Detail
For your consideration is this lovely, matching numbers 1968 TR6R custom. This bike was just recently completed and has zero miles since completion. We started with a very clean original bike. Motor has had a recent rebuild (not by us). Our own custom 6 over hardtail is bolted to the stock front frame. Nothing has been cut on the original front frame. This bike can be put back to stock at any time! As a matter of fact, I'll do one better. All the original parts that were removed when building the custom, will be included with this bike!!!! Original rear frame, swingarm, shocks, oil tank, side cover, etc...All included with the sale of the bike! Anything that came off it, goes with it! Almost like getting two bikes in one. To the nuts and bolts of it, here is a brief list of the new parts that went in to this bike: Front end rebuilt with new bearings and bushings, seals and seal holders, shaved headlight ears, gaiters and the whole thing lowered 2 inches. New wheels, 19 up front with SS spokes and a new 16 in back, also with SS spokes. Of course the tires, tubes, brakes, chain, all those parts are new. New bars, levers, throttle, all cables, ignition switch, brake light switch, headlight switch, headlight, tail light, NOS white Gran Turismo grips, Boyer ignition, Tympanium regulator, AGM battery, custom battery tray, tank strip, tank emblems, fuel taps, and hardware, gas tank mounting hardware, stainless steel oil tank, Amal carb, custom air cleaner, 6 inch wide flat rear fender, custom fender struts and of course all new wiring, nice and neat. The paint is reminicent of a 1966 TR6C. You muscle car guys may recognize it as Mulsanne Blue with white SS stripes. Either way it is beutiful and the white stripes are pinstriped in silver. The seat is custom made, white leather with subtle blue stitching. Lots of time and money went into the creation of this fine machine. The bike is squeaky clean and it shows. The bike starts right up and runs great! I encourage any one who is interested to call us at the shop. 908-464-2288. We welcome anyone to stop by and see the bike in person. The bike will be on display the weekend of 12/11 at the Lehigh motorcycle show in Allentown PA. Reserve is extremely reasonable for a bike of this caliber, under 10k. Payment in the form of certified check, bank transfer or cash upon pickup due within five days of auctions end. Buyer is responsible for all crating, shipping, arrangements and fees. We will assist any way we can. We are in an industrial area and are truck friendly. For our European friends, super affordable shipping is available to Thamesport and Rotterdam. Please, no zero feedback bidders. Unless you call or email us with your intention of following through with the auction, we will cancel your bid. I have described this bike to the best of my ability, however, it is sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied.
