Vehicle Detail
1977 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER. Original and unmolested or restored. It has spent its entire life in Colorado. The miles are original. Everything is original and and in working order. The 2F engine starts easily and runs smooth, it idles and drives great. I would drive it anywhere. The vehicle was first owned by a couple from Aspen that owned a cabin out here in Ouray, they used the cruiser as there transportation while in Ouray, after this it changed hands to a friend of mine that I purchased it from after several months of begging. I have the original warranty card from being purchased back on 01/24/1977, and also the orignal 1977 owners manual. As stated all electrical and switches work like new. Rear heater, front heater, wipers, choke works exactly as it should. Motor has great oil pressure, doesn't burn oil, nor smokes at all. It is a 4 speed manual, clutch is smooth and easy to run thru gears. The tires 31 x 10.50 Goodyear Wrangler MTR's have less then 500 miles on them, the spare has never been used. Shocks are new as well. The rust is minimal and is shown in the pictures. The worst is the rear rail which can be replaced thru many outfitters. The floorpans are solid, as well as all other areas. The top has a small dent in the rear passenger side, please note pic. Its not bad but want to state all items, and finally the hoods paint is faded. The top is solid, the door window cranks and latches work as they should. Lastly the windshield is cracked, which is common here in Colorado. The front seats do have some tears as shown, but are original. This is one of those rare unmolested, original cruisers, that runs, drives and goes down the road as good as a new one. Like I stated I would drive this anywhere, albeit at about 60mph, with the gearing thats where it wants to be. But it is smooth and comfortable at this speed. Why am I selling, well this was and still is my dream vehicle, I dont think I could find one in this condition and feel without paying alot more then what my reserve is set at. Back to why, I need to fund a project. This will be the means to do so. Feel free to ask any question. I hope to see the cruiser go to someone that will appreciate and enjoy it as much as I have.
