Vehicle Detail
This single-owner vehicle was purchased in 1967, in Alexandria, Va. The car is a 2-door hardtop and is burgundy with a black roof and burgundy interior. The car has spent its life in the south and has always been garaged. The vehicle is all original, except I did put an electronic ignition in it a number of years ago, and I replaced the alternator. The radiator was also replaced with an original reproduction. The original distributor will go with the car. The car was repainted about 7 years ago and has not been driven much since, so it is in great shape. I had the front seats re-covered and installed new carpeting, the same as the original, a few years back. The interior is in very good condition. The radio is not working, but can be repaired. The engine is a 318 two barrel, which was the original. Comes with a complete set of replacement side chrome. There is one place where the original side chrome is damaged. The tires are like new. The vehicle runs very well and I would not hesitate to drive it a long way. It would be easy to restore to completely original condition. The car is stored in Tucson Az.On Dec-07-10 at 17:06:39 PST, seller added the following information: The last 7 pictures were taken on 12/7/10. I drove the car today and had it up to 60MPH with no problem. The crome bumpers were replated and the front carpeting is new. The car ran great and I would not hesitate to drive it across country. I did make a typo on the mileage. The correct milege is 148,250. Everything is working ecept the radio but you will need to put a new 2 inch rubber gromet on the incoming fuel line. The cost should be less the $20. On Dec-08-10 at 18:00:53 PST, seller added the following information: I just put in a brand new top of the line battery in the car yesterday. I also found and ordered the gas filler hose gromet that should be here in time to ship with the car. This is a great car and I am sorry to eee it go but I am getting older and it is time to sell it.
