Factory Red mustang original door decal that is or can be easily decoded. Mechanically 351 2v 250 BHP model engine that runs supreme. The engine was rebuilt 4 years ago and 5000 miles ago from the owner prior to the guy I bought it from. The engine was improved to have an aluminum 4 v intake and carburertor and the car starts on turn of the key. note this is a factory AC car and all components under hood and under dash are still all there and will function. The engine has aftermarket valve covers but maintains the original heat shield choke stove to air cleaner and all types of interesting and original parts such as the lift hooks. The reverse lockout still works. 3 speed manual transmission (I would have an absolutely correct (rug aw1) close ratio 1971 351 C 4 speed trans available at extra cost/that was what I was going to do. I did not though because with the factory options 351C 2v 3 speed manual air conditioning power steering deluxe and tach package the car is actually very rare as it is. More comments on mechanicals. car (AGAIN) runs mint. will drive down thee road well stopped great sounds great brakes, suspension, exhaust, fuel delivery systems are all in excellent condition. As I mention the car runs and drives and frankly even lights all work/headlights, tail lights, brake lights, tach works/later in the add I will provide a utube videoto show tach working/engine running and the sound of the exhaust. Mentioning exhaust the guy I bought the car from owned and exhaust shop and about all he did to the car was put on the custom dual exhaust that just sounds so great. I dont love the tips but you can work with it for sure or change them. BODY. This was a Texas car till about 4 years ago./you can see in the pictures one side of the car looks like a great daily driver and the passenger side has a prior hit about all straight now. There is zero problems with rails, torque boxes, shock towers, cowel, trunk floor. The car does need a battery apron replacement (easily done or just repair this one better) and front floors. The car was hit hard at the right side causing damage to passenger side door, rocerk, quarter and into the roof. I had a body man do the right side of the car removing the quarter to dolly it out and welded it back on, replaced the door and repaired the roof./There really is minor work left now and then paint. I want to finish the car myself/I wanted to finish the car but I guess I can say I need the money now. The car does have some bondo in the left front fender and rear quarter but I was not planning to change them. The trunk lid is mint (and in grey primer) Matched set of craeger looking Keystone vintage mags in very good clean up (not perfect) condition. My body man was and is great and I bet for $4k or less he would complete the body if you were interested/ I would bow out and "set you up with the guy". The car was originally a rear spoiler car and NASA hood car (I used those parts on my other Mach) (I will include a picture). so this car now has the standard hood and while the trunk lid is mint (it no longer has the holes nor spoiler. Good time to tell you I really wanted to sell my other car (a previous add) but it did not meet my very reasonable reserve (again why I am tyring to sell this one. I thought/think these cars in manual shift are much more cool/desireable/fun.. etc. Again you are bidding on a complete and running and not rusty car. factory red, factory tach, factory stick, factory ac.. get the idea it was pretty cool deal. For emphasis, I will repeat no rot in rails or any expensive welding repair needed./and mechanically while I know it needs a front end alignment./I cant think of much else it needs mechanically. Best yet (I like what I am saying so I hope you like what you hear/read and know this is 100% honest) I am going to start bidding at $1000 with no reserve. By the way.. I watched many other cars when listing this car and my other one./ever hate bidding on a car for example knowing it is worth $5000 and the unrealistic seller has a 8k or more reserve on it/what a waste of time/effort and emotions. That will not happen here. I have $2500 in the body repairs already and I paid $5000 for the car but I can honestly say I expect no one is giving me that so you should be able to get a good buy and that is what people want anyway right!??!?!! Do you mean rear wheel houses or front aprons? both?!My add should also state I have all the glass except the windshield. This is a COMPLETE car minus needing a new windshield and rear valence.
