Vehicle Detail

Manual 4 speed transmission, 302 V8 engine, 4 barrel holly carburetor, edelbrock valve covers, hurst shifter, 9 inch rear end, rear wheel drive with posi-traction. I've had the car for about 12 years, but never really found the time to do much with it. It has been garage kept, except for taking it out on weekends in the summers. Engine and transmission are both in great condition, no problems what so ever. From what i can see the frame is totally solid too. The car does need a little work though. It needs a new radiator (old and clogged up), some exhaust work, dash board wiring (original gauges not hooked up), battery (doesn't hold a charge). It also needs some body work, there is rust around the rear wheel wells (shown in the pics). There are also a couple of other minor rust spots, the trunk, the bottom of the drivers side door, and a little on the edge of the roof. like I said though, these spots are fairly minor and might not be noticeable in the pics. There was some rust in the drivers side floor board, but about 5 years ago I had it cut out and replaced it with diamond plate. As far as i can tell the other floor boards are still all solid. The interior is all original, and is in pretty good shape. The rear bench seat and the passenger seat are in very good condition ( no rips, as you can see in the pics), the drivers seat is ripped a little though. The roof liner has a small quarter sized hole, but otherwise in good shape. The dashboard also has a little bit of cracking from the sun. Like I said before the dash needs to be rewired, all that is hooked up right now is the fuel gauge, and an aftermarket oil pressure and temp (the silver gauges shown in the pic). replaced the water pump about 3 years ago, and the starter solenoid about 2 months ago. I've tried to list everything I could think of. If you have any questions or want to see additional pics please feel free to ask. This is a great car and I hate to sell it, but i don't have the time to do anything with it and i need the garage space. So it's gotta go. This car is a great starting point for someone who wants their own custom classic. Good luck, and happy bidding.
