Belvidere Police Department Drug Seizure Auction The Belvidere (Illinois) Police Department is again auctioning several of their seized vehicles. Up for auction this time is a 1999 Red Ford Ranger 4X4 Extended cab pick up truck. This vehicle was originally seized from one of our local drug dealers. The vehicle was then used as an undercover vehicle for several years. The engine runs good on this vehicle. It was maintained by the police department as one of it's fleet vehicles. It has transmission issues. I am told the reverse bands are out on the vehicles. I would assume that to mean that it will need a new transmission. The vehicle has newer GoodYear tires on it with decent tread left. The vehicle has rust on the tail gate as you can see in the photos. Other than than that the body appears to be in good shape. The track has an AM/FM CD player in it. It has air conditioning but no power windows and no power locks. The center console has a broken latch and overall the vehicle could use a good cleaning. We are attempting to list this vehicle to the best of our ability. This is a good older vehicle that needs a little TLC. Please ask all questions prior to bidding. We will do our best to answer them if we can. The vehicle is being sold as is. There are no warranties or gaurantees for this vehicle.
