This is not your average ole GL500 Interstate! Here is the story, I bought this bike 4th of July last year and it was pulled from inside storage since 1996. At that time it only had 6,700 original one owner miles on it! It even had the original tires! So I replaced the tires, changed all of the fluids, had the carbs rebuilt and my wife and I have been enjoying it ever since.. It now just under 16,000 miles on it and it needs nothing! Turn Key ready to Ride. Within the last 1200 miles the bike has brand New Dunlop Tires, and a Fresh Amsoil Synthetic Oil change. As stated the bike is in beautiful condition, but it is not perfect, there is some minor pitting on the latches on the saddle bags, and a couple of minor paint imperfections, but overall an excellent, Unmolested, Original, dependable bike to use and enjoy that is soon to be a classic. My wife and I just took it on a 1000 mile UP Color Tour a few weeks ago and the bike performed flawlessly, we got over 50 MPG with it also I ride it whenever the weather permits. The only reason we are selling is because we bought a Yamaha Royal Star Tour Delux as we plan on some bigger trips next summer. I am a Dealer however this was used as our personal bike.
