This Volvo has been in the family since new and is being sold as part of an estate. It is in very good condition, starts right up and runs very well. It has had regular maintenance by the dealer and service companies. The upholstery is in very good condition, all equipment is working well, and the muffler system is new. It is an excellent first time driver car, college student car or extra family car. Three tires are about 20% worn and (1) tire is about 50% worn. This vehicle is currently operating with a valid Maryland inspection. Negatives: One hubcap is missing. Although there is no rust, the paint on the top of the roof, trunk, and hood is worn out. It is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS. The successful bidder may visit the car take a test ride and inspect it at his/her expense. If they do not want it, we will contact the second highest bidder and so on. To our knowledge this vehicle is in good working order with regular maintenance as required. Please do not ask questions about minor details like service records, inspections, spark plug changes and other nonsense items. You may inspect it before you buy it at your expense and if you do not like it for any reason you are excused with good will. Question Answers: The car was inspected when registered in MD 5 years ago. It receives a 2 year emissions inspection and has passed all. The battery is 09/2008. The muffler system is two months old. There are no "dents" as such in the car, except a small qurater size dip in the hood passenger side from a stone. There are a few parking lot door nicks in the doors - not bad. There is a crack 1/16" wide in the dash padding from the sun on the drivers side that goes from the windshield to inside edge of the dash, and a small crack in the dash upholstery about 2" long in the center. There is a small break in the stitching 2" long on the top of the seat back on the rear seat center, near the rear deck. The bad paint is mainly on the roof and trunk tops. The rest of the paint is good. There are no apparent fluid leaks or known engine or mechanical problems. To my knowledge everything on the car works but the radio has static when dialing stations. Once again, look it over and buy it, or not, no offense taken.On Nov-28-10 at 12:50:40 PST, seller added the following information: I checked over the car today 11/28/10 and noted that it has a manual sun roof. I opened and closed it today fine. It also has a cassette player in the radio. I did not try it because, well, who has cassetts now anyway. The radio will play but does not dial stations well and has static in the volume adjustment. Otherwise, I ran the car and it is smooth and runs fine. Heater works great. Air conditioning was re-chargerd last summer, driver's seat was re-upholstered 3 years ago ($1,500). Spare is very good and held tire pressure when checked. All of the original manuals are in the glove box in the original plastic folders. Hope you all find this helpful. One day left to bid!
