THOUGHT I SHOULD GIVE THE HISTORY ON THIS EXTREMELY RARE LAND CRUISER. AS I UNDERSTAND IT ONLY A SMALL HANDFUL, ACTUAL WERE BROUGHT INTO THE "US" AND TITLED HERE. MY FATHER, WAS THE 5TH, OR SO, TOYOTA, DEALER BACK IN 1963. WHEN I SAY TITLE, I MEAN NEVER TITLED C OF O, AS HE WAS A DEALER. HE REQUESTED FROM TOYOTA, TO HAVE A TOW TRUCK HE COULD USE AS A SERVICE VEICHLE, AT THE DEALERSHIP. SO TOYOTA BACK THEN, SAID THEY WOULD SEND HIM, A FJ-45, EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE NOT BRINGING THEM INTO THE "US." . SO THIS VEHICAL WAS USED AS A SERVICE TRUCK, PLOW VEICHLE,(THE ORIGINAL PLOW GOES WITH IT, AND IS A HYDROLIC LEFT RIGHT TURN PLOW BUT NOT USED FOR YEARS) AND PUSH VEICHLE. (HENCE THE FRONT BUMPER). I RECENTLY TOOK IT TO MY LOCAL SHOP, AND HAD IT GONE THROUGH. I HAVE A RECEIPT, FOR ABOUT 1K WORTH OF WORK DONE. WENT THROUGH THE BRAKES, NEW MASTER CYLINDER, ECT AND MADE IT ROAD WORTHY. SHE RUNS AND DRIVES, AND GOES DOWN THE ROAD. THERE IS ANOTHER RESTORED ONE FOR SALE, IN CALIFORNIA, FOR 56K, RESTORED. I HAVE THE RESERVE SET AT WHAT I FEEL IS A VERY REASONABLE PRICE, FOR WHAT IT IS... THANKS...
