1971 Honda CT

I have for auction a sweet little Honda Trail CT70, this bike has been completely disassembled and then rebuilt from the ground up, slowly and correctly over a 2 year period. This little unit starts and runs great, does not smoke, charging system operates properly, this bike has been run approximatly 25 miles since being assembled. I do have all the reciepts and paperwork for parts and repairs and more pictures showing before, during, and after. FRAME PAINTING - was done professionally (not using spray cans)consisting of (1)coat Etching primer, (2)coats primer, (1)coat sealer, (3)coats base coat(PPG brand), (3)coats 3002 PPG clear. POWDER COAT - Wheels and battery box. ENGINE - partial rebuild by local Honda dealer (Lexington Motorsports) all new gaskets and seals, cam sprocket, spindle, cam chain and carb rebuilt. ORIGINAL PARTS - Handlebars and triple tree, fenders, shocks, skid guard, shift lever, headlite, taillite, speedometer, battery holder, rectifier, horn, gas tank, wiring harness and solenoid (spliced to plug). AFTERMARKET PARTS - As you know, not all parts are still made by Honda, kickstart lever, front fork boots, decals, rear brake shoes, seat, wheel bearings, buddy foot pegs, speedo cable, brake cable, spark plugchrome guard. NEW HONDA OEM PARTS - rt/lf front fork slides half pipe, drive sprockets(front,rear), chain, nuts, bolts, screws and the list goes on, everything else it took to assemble this bike. I have all the original packing material the parts came in to show they are Honda parts. MFG DATE is 1/71, FRAME SN CT70-239077 and the ENGINE SN CT70E-288539 This is not a simple throw it together with pieces and parts deal, lots of time, work, and money has gone into this project, it is a nice little bike, any questions just ask and I will respond soon as possible, thanks. This unit is SOLD AS IS with only a bill of sale saying you now own it. The BUYER is responsible for picking up OR shipping this unit, I can assist for a small fee(to be determined at sale).
