Let Time's winged chariot fly you back to the late 50's, there she is! Fresh in your local Austin-MG dealer's showroom, the salesman hands you the key and with a slight turn and a push of the starter button you drive off into the sunset! Today here is that second chance to own one of the world's most beautifully elegant production cars. This fine MGA was fully restored off the frame only 2 years ago and was rarely driven. Rather pampered in an enclosed garage. This is my personal automobile and is being sold with clear title in hand. She has all new chrome all around. New bumpers, new grille, new body fittings and badges. As well as all new rubber on all body fittings and lights etc... The engine runs like a clock and keeps excellent oil pressure and does NOT overheat whatsoever. The car is completely free of rust. It was only driven on country roads during clear sunny days, as a result there are no chips in the paint and the under body is just as clean as it was on the first day. I will give both the full convertible top with the car as well a full tonneau cover for those personal outings when you're feeling sporting. Driving this MGA will make you feel like nothing else matters in the world, quite the perfect getaway... It is an absolute joy to drive. More about the car: It is equipped with a more powerful 1800 engine that is on the outside; identical to the original 1600, but is much more powerful and flexible as it is a high-compression early MGB engine developing 94hp. Another upgrade for reliability's sake is an alternator conversion along with an accurate electronic tachometer that is also identical to the original as it uses the original BritishJaeger instruments face and housing. All hydraulics on the vehicle are restored with new parts and in perfect working condition. The car also has very good tires on all four wheels. Athough the vehicle is a 1960, it is already equipped with original disc brakes in the front. Great stopping power, and excellent handling on twisty roads. What does the car need? And there is a very small tear in the tonneau cover. Two very minor things but at least you are aware of them now.
