this is my 1985 ford f150. the odometer reads 66,627. I bought this truck as a project and it took me over a year to finish it. i did all the body work and repainted it sonic blue. (not cheap paint) it looks great. there is a couple scratches and dents but nothing really noticable until you get up close. the motor is a straight 6 that i rebuilt. i had a machine shop check everything out. it only needed to be bored .30 over. everything is brand new in this motor except for the connecting rods. this motor runs strong and is very reliable. this motor has less than 200 miles on it the clutch is basically brand new. the guy i bought the truck from put the new clutch in. he also had the flywheel machined down correctly. transmission is a 4 speed no granny gear. everything is in working order with that transfer case/ 4 wheel drive work. The truck has never seen mud. this was my project and i refuse to ruin a perfectly good truck. I did test the four wheel drive though and it does work correctly. the truck is lifted 4" on 33" pro comp all terrain tires. two of the tires are brand new with less than 200 miles on them. all the brakes are brand new. rotors pads calipers brake lines, drums, wheel cylinders, everything in this braking system is brand new and this truck stops on a dime. the interior is a little rough but it didnt really bother me that much. i put two bucket seats in it. the driver seat has a good size rip in it. passenger seat is good. i put in a highliner headliner that has four speakers installed in it. sounds great i also converted the windows to power windows. and power locks. the only problem i have with the truck is the gas gauge. the fuel sending unit is bad and I've searched everywhere to find one but nobody has them, and i refuse to put junkyard parts into this truck. so ive been driving it the past couple weeks without a gas gauge but no trouble at all with running out of gas or anything.
