Vehicle Detail
I bought this car during the summer with plans to work on it through the summer and winter. We are going to be moving out of the state and cannot afford to drive or ship the car to where we are going. It is a fun car, but my loss is your gain. Tabs are current, with a clear title in hand. Drivetrain Engine: ORIGINAL V8 5.7L 350. Modifications include headers, Edelbrock Carb, moderate cam, and intake. Have PHS documentation to verify originality. Transmission: ORIGINAL TH350 with Stage 2 shift kit.. Shifts hard and fast. Breaks the tires loose shifting into second gear and barks again into third. Needs kickdown cable reconnected. Have PHS documentation to verify originality. Rear Differential: NOT ORIGINAL. I bought the car with a 2.78(something like that) rear end. I had a 3.73 posi unit put into it about a month after I got it. Less than 500 Miles have been run since. VERY FAST!! Interior This needs a bit of work. The headliner, carpet, and door panels were shot when I got the car. I have torn everything but the dash and seats out in preparation for the work that needed to be done, but I no longer have the time or money to put into what it needs. Dash pad is also cracked, and the metal parts of it are rusted. As of now, the Tach, speedo, and gas gauge do not work, but I will try to get them working in the next week or two. Seats are from a 1970 GTO I believe. Blower motor works, but is very loud. Exterior Paint has rust bubbles in places, but nothing too serious that should cause entire panels to be replaced. Rear taillights have all been replaced, and all lights work. Front corner lights need housings. Originally had a black vinyl top and was painted Sierra Yellow. Vinyl top was removed and car was painted orange(some say it looks red though), with black top and racing stripes. I believe the wheels are Original Rally II wheels. This car has a lot of potential to be a great looking hot rod. It just needs someone that has the time and money to give it the parts and care that it needs. If you have any question or would like to see detailed pictures of any part of the car or even come take a look at it, please email me.
