You are bidding on a 1998 Mercedes SLK 230 convertible. This car has had some fire damage under the dash. I do not know if it runs or not. The lady that sold it to my 80 year old father said that it ran great and had been repaired. He did not try to crank or drive the car until he had already paid her and went to pick it up. Apparently it has not been fixed because we can not get it to crank or even turn over. The lights on the dash don't even come on so we have no idea of how many miles it has. It has a good title and I am selling it for him AS IS with no gurantees. I am trying to help him get some of his money back. The passenger tailight is knocked out and there is a dent right on the quarter panel in front of the tailight. You can buy this as a parts car or one to fix.There is some fire damage on the dash. Remember this is an AS IS deal and I do not want any negative feedback on my account. I will try to answer any question that you may have.
