This is the final goodbye from me, to my beloved black MX5 Miata. It's been driven only by my grandmother to the shops on Sundays.......... No seriously.... :) I've owned this car since 2005 when I arrived in Florida, and love it to bits, however as I'm traveling via plane more and more, its too much of a shame for this car to just sit, and idle, when someone else could be enjoying it out on the roads, so its up for sale (Obviously or you'd not be reading this). It's a 5 speed, 1.8, runs great, and gets up to highway speeds a lot quicker than people would think. My mechanic calls it "zippy with grunt" :) It's currently black, and I bought it this way, however the records show that it USED to be blue. I prefer it black, so kept it that way. Updates to this car as as follows, and again, this is how I bought it: CD Player, and speakers in doors, separated woofers and tweeters, to give better sound. There is also a connector under the seat I believe that's there for an amplifier. It's got the zipped back window like the original, and is a very nice job. Cost for that was $1400, but well worth it. This car has had the same mechanic for 5 years as well. He hasn't seen the car much recently as its not been driven other than to Walmart for bread and Starbucks for coffee in two years. Sad hey.... Brakes are in good cond. because I gear down rather than just flat foot it for stopping. Gears slide nicely, and trust me, it gets a work out when I do drive it, as these cars are meant to be driven well. ONLY downside right now, is that the air conditioner stopped working, and my mechanic told me I need a new dryer. I've decided that I would rather let the new owner do this, hence the reason the price is under 3k. There is a small patch of rust, behind the driver side door that you will see a picture of as well. This is a great car, and I love it to bits because it's a lot of fun and gets a lot of looks. i just don't have the time to drive it anymore, so make sure it goes to a good new home!
