1977 Pontiac Trans am was a daily driver until this month. The transmission went out and the one owner family put it up for sale. I bought this from the grandson that just received this car recently from his grandma that originally bought it new. He had just put new dual exhaust on it before it quit. Car comes with no motor or trans. But everything else is here. The air conditioning pieces and brackets the ac pump turns over and I think would still work when charged,,jack shaker scoop and air cleaner which is new in box, cruise control parts everything is complete and all gages windows, electric trunk worked fine. This car came from the factory loaded with every option accept t-tops deluxe interior air conditioning power windows. Positrac 411 geared rearend. This is the same year as the car in the movie smokey and the bandit. Car was originally white. Looks like it was a high quality paint job but, a long time ago. The first glimpse at this car I thought too much rust but, when I looked at it close it was not really too bad. It has no rust on valance behind gas tank,door jams, trunk,trunk lid floor boards are perfect accept jack went through the the driver side floor board and made 2” hole, the inside fenders all look great. The drivers fender has no rust. Spots that have rust are surface rust on ruff, and rusted all the way though behind both rear tires outside only, small spot on passenger fender. Most of these car are rusted way more. The doors open and close easy with no sagging. The glass all the way around is perfect. The chrome window trim looks new but is original. The steering wheel looks brand new. I bought this car to restore this winter but, things have changed recently and it is going to sell with a very low reserve so just bid to win. Car is sold as a project car that needs motor and transmission that are not available. this car looks like it has great front end and brakes. I was told it went down the road very well so brakes tires shocks alignment is all good. The only part it is missing is the front spoiler center piece other wise it is complete and way to nice to use for parts or sell parts off of. Car has clear title and original keys.
