You're looking at a 1999 Dodge Ram Van 3500 with Wheelchair Lift and High-Top conversion by Braun Corp. and American Bus and Accessories, Inc. I bought this van and a second van I have listed from a local senior center, for use in a small medical transport company. However, I found out that this was not the business for me, so I'm selling these vehicles so I can move on. These vans were garaged for a couple months when I got them, and now they're in a self-storage lot as I list them for sale. This van is in good shape overall. This was a backup van and I only drove it once or twice, so I don't know the condition in great detail but I'll do my best here. The body looks good overall; there are a couple rust spots (typical of this year and model) but appearance overall is good. The motor has always run fine for me. Major mechanical systems are all fine, to my knowledge, except the transmission may have issues upshifting from first or second. I talked to a local transmission shop and this is likely a simple issue but I'm simply out of time to look into it and you'll probably want to have the vehicle transported. Mileage on this van is low compared to most other vans I've looked at, so everything is likely to be in good shape. Brakes were good and steering was excellent last time I drove it. Tires hold air and have plenty of tread. Seating capacity is 12 including the driver. The passenger door is controlled from the driver's seat. Interior is good. Driver's seat is in good shape and passenger seats are very nice. Wheelchair lift works. Everything else I assume works but I haven't had time to double check. I have described to the best of my ability. Sold as-is, no warranties expressed or implied. Clear title, ready to transfer. Odometer has 104,623 miles or very close (last trip). Listed locally also, so auction may be canceled if sold locally. This Dodge van feels smaller and easier to drive than the Ford E250 I had, even though the Dodge holds more people. Also, a correction: Today I test drove the vehicle again, and discovered that brake fluid had escaped during the time in storage. I refilled the brake fluid and I don't see any leaks, but some air remains in the line and you have to depress the pedal fully in order to engage the brakes. Brake light and ABS light stay on now. Engine power was good during the low-speed test drive, and transmission seemed ok. If you have bid already and find this unacceptable, please retract your bid immediately. Thanks.
