VERY RARE Comet 404 FACTORY 4 speed!! Close ratio top loader 4 speed(need syncro rings-will jump out of 3rd gear if you're getting on it) with the factory trigger shifter. I bought this car 3 years ago and just have no time to finish any more due to buying a new house and getting married. It has the original 289 block with Ford racing 2.02 aluminum heads, roller rockers, Edelbrock valve covers, NEW Holley 670 vacuum secondary(jetted for 6,000' on top of a NEW Air Gap Aluminum intake. Melling 288 .512/.512 cam(rough idle lots of power). New water pump and fuel pump, HEI distributor, Hooker headers with 2.5" exhaust exiting the rear(sounds AWESOME!!!), NEW tires(<500 miles) on chrome reverse with moonies. I probably have around $3k in the motor and it runs pretty much perfect! 3.73 gears(Ford 8 inch) with tracloc(NEW) also comes with the original 3.07 original equipment. The original heads come with it too(ported 54cc heads with Comp Cams racing springs) Almost all the body work is done and about 95% of the car is in catylized primer. For the most part it is VERY straight and almost NO rust. The bottom of the car is in great shape but need floor pans on drivers and passenger floors which come with it. Glass is all but perfect and roll up and down like new. Dash is perfect. Will need final body sanding and a little finish work on the front fenders and paint and complete interior although the seat frames and pads are perfect. I drive this car anytime I want and trust it although it has NO IMPLIED WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE!!! With the 3.73's it isn't the world's best long haul car. I'm not hard up to sell this car and will not take lowball offers so don't waste your time. Car is in Peyton Colorado and I will help load it but will NOT be responsible for shipping.
