Hi, up for auction is a beautiful 1968 Plymouth Road Runner in a very rare, seldom seen color which is called Surf Turquoise. Color paint code LL1, this color only had a four month production run in the spring of 1968. Numbers matching car 383 cubic inch 335 H.P. with 425 foot pounds of torque. The Road Runner has only logged 104,000 miles logged on the odometer. This Road Runner carries the RM21 distinction which is the two door coupe model, that in includes the following: Torque Flight 727 transmission, AM radio, power steering, power brakes, upgraded deluxe interior, and of course...the Road Runner BEEP BEEP horn!! The Road Runner is 100% solid and rust free. A Northern California car and family owned one owner car from 1968 thru 2007. The Road Runner is absolutely beautiful, runs and sounds awesome. The Road Runner was fininshed off with a aggresive sounding exhaust system sure to turn heads to see what's about to arrive!! The Plymouth is a real eye catcher. I do have the original build sheet in hand, as well as the title. Car is currently registered thru Feb. 2011. The Road Runner has had a recent restoration all done by local restoration specialists here in the San Francisco bay area. Even the interior dome light works as seen in a couple of pics!! New paint thru-out on a 100% straight body. Brand new complete interior. Seats, door panels, carpet, head liner, etc. Rechromed bumpers, trim, and emblems. All new weather stripping and rubber parts. New/rebuilt suspension, frontend These items total over $18,000.00 alone. The Road Runner only needs a couple of things left to do.
