I listed this car for the owner last Feb. I first drove it around to test drive and get "a feel" for the car. It drove great with the only problems being the power windows seemed sluggish as if the motor was wearing out. Then I listed the car and the winning bidder contacted the owner and asked him to start the car and while running, pull the battery cable off, which he did and it died. Well, after that the car started to have a problem . When you go past 2000 rpms the car cuts the fuel off. The car was sent to a mechanic who couldn't find the computer hook-up I looked on line and told owner but he lost interest and so the car sat for many months. Owner, after being charged storage fees decided to re-list. He does not want to invest in repairs or diagnostics. It is what it is a 1988 Silver Nissan 300zx with T-top manual transmission, power everything cassette/stereo. It has oxidation on the paint. Although the dash has no cracks, the center console is ripped up. The lights all work except for the flood lights. and the interior light cover is missing. The car was driven by a smoker. There are so many great features about this car! (the only rust is a smaller than a dime spot on the front passenger fender. Sure the interior could use cosmetics but as far as engine goes the mechanical needs are rather minor.Near new battery, no fluid leaks whatsoever, strong tranny, good compression in the cylinders etc.Body is straight and strong wheels have no pull or vibration. No white washing and no Armor all. Maybe I should have dusted it of before photos. Ah hindsite! Hey! I didn't even alter the photos (with Ebay photo shop feature) But! Do know this! It is a great little car! I drove it around town yesterday and found it to be quite sound. The above mentioned "issues" were told to me by the owner and hey, he couldn't even figure out where the computer diagnostics hook-up was located! Please do see the history and see that it is an accident free vehicle. Sound frame, runs smoothly without backfiring and has good pep. Kelly blue book is $6300.00.
