WOW...this is a real challenge to describe this car. This car belonged to a friend's father who passed away. We know very little about this Pinto. I did some research to find out what kind of Pinto it is...apparently it is called a Pinto Cruising Wagon. This Pinto has an automatic transmission, a 2.8L V-6 "Cologne" engine, power steering, and power brakes. There is no A/C. This two door car has a rear hatch or tailgate and a rear folding back seat. The tires appear to be newer. The true mileage is unknown...the odometer says 64,000, but we have no clue if this is actual or the second time around. The Pinto starts easy and runs rather smoothly. The body creaks and squeaks a lot while driving. I didn't see any rust on the outer body, but I did see rust around the doors near the hinges. The car car received a "paint job"...not the greatest paint job I have seen...the engine and engine components were also over zealously painted...to each their own I guess...This car actually looks really cool with the "porthole" window and the body stripes.
