Vehicle Detail

CORRECT VIN #2281942199, when I placed the ad I mistakenly put the title number instead of the vin number. Here is the correct vehicle number for the truck. Ten vin numbers is correct for this year. The truck was built in the truck plant in Warren, Michigan. 1969 Dodge Power Wagon 4x4 3/4 Ton NO Rust!!! No ReserveThis truck is rust free and runs great. It has 318 or 360 small block, runs great and 4 speed transmission. It has a 6" rancho suspension lift kit package including Rancho shocks and a Rancho steering stabilizer. The interior was redone 2 years ago but the truck has never been used since that time. I had the full carpet replaced, the headliner replaced, both door panels redone and the seat redone to match the original pattern but in solid black instead of white and black. The 4x4 units work just fine and the lockout hubs turn easily in both free and lock. It steers pretty easily considering it does not have power steering. It has a new master cylinder and the pedal is right up to the top. It has nice mag wheels with 900x16 military tires. They look real nice but they are very bumpy tires and should be replaced. I bought them from a guy on Ebay and he swore they were in excellent shape but they arrived very lumpy. The truck is rust free under and on the body. I climbed under it last year and was amazed at how clean it was. It just has the usual dirt associated with being driven over the years but no buildup of any dirt or grease. The gauges are not registering, could be a fuse or a wire or a relay. None of the lights in the back work so I am assuming they are unpluged but due to health problems I cannot get under the dash or get under truck to look or make any repairs, this is all this is wrong with the truck. It does not leak or smoke.I bought this truck in 2007 for my son who wanted it real bad. He was 15 at the time and by the time he was old enough to drive it he wanted a VW or a Toyota pickup so it just sits in the back yard. It' time to clear the yard so it's gonna get sold. These are the things wrong that I have found that a prospective buyer should know about. The tires are the big issue and the fact that it does not have power steering or brakes. I am not sure that it is a power wagon but everyone that looks at it tells me that it is.The front windshield has a large crack but it is not in the drivers face, the front windshield rubber is hard and needs to be replaced for sure. The back window rubber is also hard and dry and in one corner there is a small piece missing. There is a hole in the dash where I think there was a CB radio or an ash tray. The truck has a built in ashtray so I think it is a hole where the CB was mounted. The paint is about 5 years old and was painted before I bought it. It has been polished many times. You can see in a few spots where it is getting thin from polishing too much. The right door has a bad hinge but the door closes in the correct position all the time. The inside doors have cutouts for speakers. The bed has a few dents in the fender wells but they are not bad at all. It has a hydraulic winch that was there originally, but whoever installed it, never completed the install. You would need a PTO to make it work. It comes with a 50' new winch cable but it is not wrapped on the spool. Truck starts instantly does not have any blowby or smoke. Runs smooth. That's about all I can think of today Will add any other info during auction if important. Mileage shows 44,942 on the odometer and I would suppose it has gone over but I do not know for sure. I took this truck to the Oregon State Police and had it inspected and the vin matches the title and it is a 1969 model truck.
