It was built as a serious touring/show, "R Gruppe" car. Never been on a race track. It was built from light weight, beautiful, no accidents, no rust, rare 1976 912E Carrera; I have build pictures showing the body striped down and no rust anywhere. Car came from California originally. Anyone who knows PORSCHE history knows the value of a solid 912E, this one has an electric sun roof and electric side view mirrors. The motor was converted and switched with a 1974 totally rebuilt 6 cylinder 3.0 Euro smog free motor. Motor and transmission rebuilt at a cost of $14,717.42. Both motor and transmission were COMPLETELY torn down and all parts were replaced with either new factory or competition parts. NO CHEAP AFTER MARKET PARTS WENT INTO THIS REBUILD AND "no stone was left unturned". Only a few hundred miles since the completion of the rebuild a little over a year ago. Drives fantastic and has all the right stuff! Gets more attention than my 930 wide body! I have receipts for over $32,500 which does not included anyone’s personal time. It has been lowered to make it handle even better and it has installed factory METAL SC fender flares. Brakes were changed to all new 85 Carrera (all 4) large drilled rotors, the master cylinder was rebuilt, brake/clutch assembly complete rebuilt, new rear wheel bearings, new trailing arm bushings and Club Sport engine mounts. Changed torsion bars to new 1986 Carrera 19 MM in the front and the rears to 25 MM. Replaced steering rack and installed adjustable rear spring plates. Installed 930 Turbo Tie Rods and new sway bar bushings. New Mocal Oil Cooler (19 rows, 235 matrixes) and Mocal Oil Thermostat. New Stainless Steel Oil Lines. New Weltmeister Short Shift Kit, very short space between shifts. Reset ride height. Originally had air but it is not installed at engine to save weight and power. Interior is beautiful with very comfortable factory Sport Seats. Dash and doors are not cracked or checked at all and look brand new, power sunroof and power mirrors work great. Have tinted windows all around. Originally a California car with no rust. Paint is ARREST ME RED. I just wanted everything about this car to be perfect when it was done so cost was not spared. It has 7" and 8" BBS wheels with new Bridgestone tires all around. Less than 500 miles on them. This car was built with all intentions of keeping not to sell but a job offer has come up and it requires me to move miles away. I have 8 cars and I am only keeping two. I have all sorts of pictures of the rebuild and the progression it took. Time to thin the herd and move as little personal belongings as possible. I have included everything I can think of at the time of the listing and I am ready to answer any questions as best I can. I will not consider any trades, except maybe a house boat. I will not swap for 50 gallons of Vermont Maple Syrup and your first child and I am not interested in any money from another country that your cousin can wire me, SO DONT BOTHER, I do not want to talk to any auto brokers either so don't waste your phone calls.
