Up for sale is 1982 Pontiac Trans AM KNIGHT RIDER KITT replica. This replica was built based on the season 3 version of K.I.T.T. This car is an everyday driver. It has a 305 V6 with an automatic transmission. All lights, turn signals, and hideaway headlights work properly. The windshield wipers work but they have a short in the connection. The car's tires have less than a 1,000 miles and have very good tread on them. The interior is clean and neat with no rips or tears in the upholstery. The car is equipped with a stereo/cd player located under the dash near the shifter. All glass in the car is in great condition with no cracks. The exterior is show-correct with the front fiberglass nose piece, t-top roof, and black wheel covers. It also has blacked out rear tail light panels. The car has new brakes, transmission cooling lines, spark plugs, wires, and distributor with a recent oil change. This is an everyday driver yet it needs a transmission seal gasket. Also the carb needs some work, yet it runs and drives. The car can be driven anywhere, but it idles low so the linkage may need to be adjusted or replaced. A/C works and blows cold air but it needs to be recharged. The heater works well and blows nice warm air. The exterior has the factory black paint job, yet it needs to be repainted. The passenger door was replaced and needs to be repainted. This car is rust-free from top to bottom. The only spot is where some paint chipped off on the front pillar near the windshield. It is minor surface rust that could be removed during the painting process. There is no rust on the lower panels or frame. The dashboard is from Marks Custom Kits out of Orlando, FL. The dashboard is fully functional. I hooked up a hot and ground wire to make sure all lights work. I do not have the wires hooked up to the gauges. The dashboard is secured to the factory dash and can be easily removed to hook up the K.I.T.T. dashboard. No wires have been cut or removed from either the KITT dashboard or the factory Trans Am dashboard. Everything is still intact and original, so you'll have no problem wondering if everything will work when its hooked up. The front red scanner works as well, yet one light is out. Marks Custom Kits has the sensor to replace the light.
