1997 Jetta GT. 5spd. 2.0. 184000 miles, gets around 30 mpg. Lots of body dents. Needs brakes, clutch slips under acceleration and needs to be push started because the alarm is tripped and wont allow the car to start with the key. Radio recently stopped working. 2 good tires, aluminum wheels. Car still runs and drives fine. Just a note, I have been driving the car with the clutch slipping for the last 2 years or so and it hasnt got any worse. You just need to go easy on the gas when accelerating. Im not sure about the brakes, I locked them up a month ago to miss a deer and after that they went to the floor. Maybe a line or master cylinder? Good project for someone with the time to do it.
