As part of that sales promotion, Nissan issued a special Limited Edition of the 300ZX Turbo SE Model - Called the Shiro Special Edition 300ZX Turbo SE. Refered to as the SS Edition, this car was painted in a special Pearl White paint (Shiro means White in Japanese). the Special Shiro Edition had the following as standard equipment:No options; all are identical - 1002 made between 1/88 and 3/88 - part of "Nissan White Sale" - VG30ET engine - 5spd. Overdrive Manual Transmission - Viscous LSD - two-seater - T-tops - black interior - cloth Recaro seats - exclusive Pearl White paint - exclusive white 16" wheels - exclusive "European" air dam - Analog dash - AM/FM cassette - non-adjustable suspension, very tight - regular climate controls (sliders) - priced $1000 over "normal" Turbo Z This car was purchased in 1999 from the sales manager of Bankston Nissan in Dallas. His dealership received one of this model in 1988. This was his personal car and daily driver. Vehicle has all receipts and maintenance records. Texas vanity license plate, " 300Z" is assigned to this car and is transferrable to new owner. This car has always been absolutely pampered since new. Adult driven, smoke free and always garaged.Everything works on this car, except the cassette tape player. Cold air, good tires and echted VIN # on all glass. Exotic leather added in cockpit. A 800 watt, 4 channel amp was installed, to give Clapton the respect he deserves with the T-tops off. Leather wrapped steering wheel. Tinted windows. Car cover included, as well as a custom sunshield. Car has never been in an accident. The damage refered to in the vehicle report refers to damage to the right rear quarter panel, when the vehicle was backed into in a parking lot in 2007. Repaired, by a quality high-end body shop. Documentation is provided to support damage and repair.Vehicle is located in a Dallas suburb. When I purchased this vehicle, the Bankston sales manager saw my 1979 280ZX, and told me that he could tell by the condition of that vehicle that I would love this car, pamper it and put it to bed every night.
