Vehicle Detail
This vehicle was previously registered in Connecticut as a 1977 Super Beetle. It is on a 1977 frame with a valid vin number. The body is a Meyers Manx style. When I first purchased it 4 years ago it was yellow and needed work. I stripped it down to nothing and worked the frame. Cleaned it as best I could and painted it. The motor is a 1915cc VW motor with a mild cam. It is brand new with 0 miles on it. The body is painted in a Black Cherry color with metal flake and the ghost flames are painted on. The flames go from front to back. The underside is also painted. The seats are Corbeau racing seats, brand new with 4 point racing harness belts. The windshield is called "bus" glass which is thick and has the tint on top. The dash has 2 covers for it which are not pictured here. Aluminum cover with a smaller painted cover to break it up. The wiring is completely laid out front to back and some is hooked up. Carpet is installed and it is all there... All you have to do is finish putting it together. Everything is new and no corners were cut or skimped on quality. Has new wheels, gaskets, seals, bushings, etc. The paint alone on it was $4200. This buggy is all there and just needs to be finished. I don't have the time due to other projects that i have going on. There are many extra parts for it and the pictures do not do it justice. My reserve is set very reasonable considering the time and money I have invested here. My loss is your gain, I would rather let this go to someone who can put it to its full potential. Vehicle is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. I assume no responsibility for shipping but I will deliver up to 200miles from zip 06010. That is ONLY after it is paid for in full. If you would like to set up shipping I would gladly assist to the best of my ability. I have all original paperwork and receipts for the engine and when it was built. Once again i appologize for any confusion and inconvenience this may have caused. Thanks for looking.
