1971 Chevy Camaro 454 Big Block. Second owner. Owned since 1988. Bought with 51,000 original miles. Originally a 350 automatic with air. About 7500 miles on drivetrain now. Professional paint and sheet metal / body work. All new body panels. Never wrecked. Fiberglass hood with 4 inch cowl induction. Oil, Fuel, Temp gauges mounted inside cowl. Color is Laser red with black stripes clear coated. Black interior, custom dash gauges and wiring, roll bar, harnesses. Reverse pattern custom shifter with Trans brake, and shift light. Brand new Mickey Thompson Drag Radials in rear. Newer front radials. Centerline SS drag rims. New rear springs, Cal trac bars, Professional drag link- anti sway bar, 7 way adjustable shocks. New Ford 9 inch rearend (powder coated with 4.11 gears), brakes and 31 spline Moser axles. Aluminum driveshaft and heavy duty u-joints. Also has welded frame ties. Roll bar and racing harnesses (2 sets included). Front end has been rebuilt; drag shocks, new front drag springs included. Manual steering box close ratio. Manual brakes and corvette master cylinder. All stainless steel brake lines. 3.5 to 3 inch exhaust welded with Dr. Gas crossover and mufflers, runs ½ way back with Gorlisch mufflers. I will include the remaining full exhaust: all mandrel bent, with new Dynomax mufflers also. Fuel Cell 12 gallon with dual fuel pumps, one electric, one mechanical (Barry grant) braided fuel line with Earls fittings. Rear mounted battery (new). Turbo 400 Trans, has the thicker case, Trans blanket, trans brake, full manual, reverse pattern, built by Atomic transmission for strip. Trans cooler all braided lines. 454 bored out to 468, 2 bolt mains, 525+ hp, built by Fast times Motor works 1997-98, only about 7500 miles on motor. Cast iron heads ported by Paul Knippen (muscle Motors) 2007, solid roller cam, roller lifters & rockers, stud girdles, Victor-Jr intake & Holley 850 double pumper. MSD ignition and crank trigger. Aluminum radiator, high torque starter. Car weighs 3715 and runs 117mph in ¼ mile as set up. Have many receipts and history from original owner. Issues: Side widow glass has some scratch marks, there are some small nicks to be touched up, but overall paint is excellent. This is not a frame off restoration. Fuel cap sticks, horn doesn’t work.
