Today you are bidding on a classic 1985 Mazda Rx7. This car has only 88k original miles on it and is in very good condition. I bought it as a project car to fix up and let my son drive. It is completely stock and has not been tuned or altered. It has the original 12A engine still installed as well as the factory 5 speed. It has all orignial interior except for the aftermarket stereo installation. All glass is in great shape with no cracks. It also has all new tires. There are some small items that are wrong with this car as is to be expected after 25 years. This car has been parked for a few months now after developing a water leak somewhere that I could not easily find. I am not familiar with rotary engines and did not want to tear into it to find the issue. It may be something very simple but I have two project cars in progress now and do not have the time to complete this one before winter. Most of these cars are selling for $4-$5k in this condition. I will take the first $1000 that comes our way. This is a great candidate for a full classic restoration or a to turn into a lightweight tuner/drag car. Here is what I know to be wrong with the car: Drivers side window cranks hard going up Rotary engine has a water leak somewhere and has not been run since the leak started. Turns over fine. Small surface rust on lower fenders Exhaust has leak near rear Cruise control is intermitant Dash light bulb is burnt out Some small dents and normal scratches in body Right front fender has been replaced with a new NPD fender
