1985 Honda VF700 SABRE

FOR SALE: 1985 HONDA VF700 also known as V45 SABRE, I bought this bike two years ago. I've put about 2000 of the 16000 on the bike since I got it. Tires have about 2500 miles on them. brakes were done before I got it. I'll describe the good first. The engine runs great, will start in the cold and behaves better since I have put some miles on it and probably cleaned the carbs a bit. Exhaust seems normal, not buring oil. Clutch works normally. gears all working and shifting smoothly. battery is good. So, the bike is rideable. However there are a couple issues. It leaks a small amount of oil and it hits the exhaust manifold and makes some smoke, of course this doesn't take much but it floats into your helmet at a stoplight. its probably seals. Both front fork suspension seals leak. and the rear suspension compresses while riding and does not lift back up until you get off the bike. It is missing one of the red side covers and the rear tail light lens. All lights are working but I did just notice the front brake lever not activating the rear brake light, the rear brake does light it. Normal stuff in need of reconditioning on bike this age.will run the auction til the end, please don't ask how much to end it early.
