RARE 1972 Chevrolet Heavy Chevy Chevelle 425 HP 454 Big Block, Richmond 5 Speed Screamer BID WITH CONFIDENCE: STRONG FEEDBACK RECORD!! Introduced midyear in 1971, the Heavy Chevy appearance package was applied to half as many Chevelles as the SS and offered many of the same options as the SS. The one holdback was that only the SS could be ordered with the 454 engine. The Heavy Chevy Chevelles are nonetheless VERY rare and are easily identifiable by their unique VIN: 1C37. Only 9,508 Heavy Chevys rolled off the assembly line in 1972 and many were cloned to SS's. This one here has been restored and the drivetrain has been upgraded extensively! Here are the Highlights: -Original Heavy Duty Suspension including oversized rear sway bar -Recently rebuilt 454 with Corvette 427 heads.
