Time has come to sell my wife's Hot Rod , this Deuce has been with us for 10 years & has proved to be both reliable & a lot of fun. Built as a no nonsense family Hot Rod. Original paint was left where possible (including belt line pinstripe) .The rust repairs were performed on the usual front cowl base & the rear inner fender wells were completely rebuilt as per original. The rust was left in the front doors to preserve as much Original Patina as possible. The 4 Original Fenders were repaired where necessary per original spec. There is NO PLASTIC filler anywhere .The body wood is Original & perfect , the top & rear window wood was replaced with new. The door latches & stock window cranks are perfect (No Door Handle Droop !! on any of the doors.) Wiring is a Ron Francis Kit , cooling is via a Walker Rad , there is NO A/C , just like Henry in 1932 we use the cowl vent & wind down all 6 windows !. I own LimeWorks Speedshop so we used one of our own Chassis, it is equipped with a Kugel IFS , Currie diff & axled 9" rear with 11" drum brakes , round tube x member & American Stamping rails. Rear suspension is P&J ladder bars & Aldan Coil Overs, the ride is superb.Bumpers are 41 Ford Fronts, rechromed & fitted to the 32 Irons, in early Hot Rod Style, A new chrome windshield was fitted last year.Engine is a 1965 Buick Skylark 300" with an Edelbrock Carb & MSD Ignition.The Trans is a 700 R4 by Toyshop Trans in Pomona.Wheels are original 1960's E/T 5 spokes in the rear & new E/T 5 spokes up front for the 60's feel we went with a white roof insert & retro interior, the trunk was Carol's idea & a blessing on family trips, I decoupaged it with 1950 Hot Rod & National Geographic magazines , it is a useful & interesting addition to a really cool old car .The new dash from Bob Drake was chromed & filled with Genuine 60's Stewart Warner Green line gauges,the column is our 40 style with our latest column shifter & turn signal.We have driven the car all over California & last year I drove her to Austin Texas for the Lone Star Round Up, she did not miss a beat on the 3000 mile round trip.Now is your chance to own a really fun worry free family Hot Rod that can be enjoyed as we have or taken to the next level with a little rust repair & a nice paint job.
