Today, my husband took the car to the shop. They said the sub-frame is rusted and it probably won't pass inspection. You might be able to weld some plates on. Sounds like it's a project... I lowered the price. :( 1998 Dodge Stratus LOW MILES!!! GREAT CAR!!! RUNS PERFECT!!! READY TO GO!!! EVERYTHING WORKS!!! Bid starts at $2900 with no reserve! Lists for $3,150 on Kelley Blue Book. This car has a valid NYS inspection, working AC, power locks, power windows, cruise control, cassette player, AM/FM radio, tilt wheel, and the interior looks brand new (it does NOT have a sunroof). The car has low miles and is an excellent driving condition (I'm currently driving it to and from work). I bought the car about a year ago, since then, it's had all the brake lines and brakes replaced, the entire exhaust replaced, and routine maintenance has been kept up. There is visible rust on the hood and doors (please see the pictures) and it has been slightly smoked in. This car has been running great for me and has no current mechanical problems. Prior to me, I bought it from a dealership and know of the previous owner who was an older couple that did not drive the car very much (I bought it with about 35,000 miles on it). I wasn't really ready to get rid of the car, but I have decide to purchase my mother-in-laws car and keep it in the family.
