1963 Ford Galaxie 500 4 door sedan, Power Steering, Power Brakes and A/C. This is a true auction with NO RESERVE, the final bidder will own this car. This would be a great family cruiser with the look and style of a classic Ford with the dependablility and comfort of a new car with a modern 302 5.0 V-8, fuel injection, 4 speed A.O.D Automatic over drive trans, power steering and brakes and A/C. Up for sale is this beautiful 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 4 door sedan. A true Arizona then Califonia rust free car. All sheet metal is perfect with no rust or rot anywhere on the car. Underside is as clean and nice as the rest of the car, has a clear open California title and still has the California plates on it. The car has been lowered 3 inches all the way round with new springs and shocks to give it a low, sleek styled look and ride. The car has 90,000 original miles and runs like new. The original 289 C4 was removed to make way for a complete rebuilt engine and trans from a 1989 Ford Mustang. Engine is a 302 5.0 rebuilt long block with approx. 3000 miles since rebuild. The engine has an aftermarket polished intake and 70MM Throttle Body and 70 MM Mass Air, with polished Valve Covers. Transmission is an A.O.D. 4 speed automatic, rebuilt with extra large trans cooler. Engine compartment was painted before engine was installed. The car runs and idles great. The stock computer and harness from the Mustang was used and installed neatly and out of the way. The interior is very clean and original. Have the great style of this classic Ford and the modern drive of a new car, does 75 mph all day long on the freeway and gets 20 miles to the gallon with the overdrive trans and never gets hot with heavy duty radiator and trans cooler. Original exhuast manifolds were Jet Hot coated, New Dual Exhuast from front to back with Flow Master Mufflers, Brand new master cylinder and power booster, Brand new power steering pump and pressure lines. The A/C needs 2 new hoses and a freon charge to work. The reason i am selling is that this car was purchased as a package deal and I don't have the need or space to store it any longer.
